Today, more than one billion people in the world are exposed to the problems of undernourishment. Among them, 800 million suffer from malnutrition.<\/p>\n

Millions of children suffer from the lack of medical care. Each year, more than 13 million children under five die from diseases that could be prevented.<\/p>\n

Today, more than 885 million people worldwide are forced to drink unhygienic,non-potable water and 2.5 billion people lack adequate sanitation.<\/p>\n

Each year, millions of children around the world are denied the right to an identity. In 2007, more than 51 million children were not registered.<\/p>\n

All children have the right to the freedom of opinion, expression and association. Yet, most of them do not have the chance to savor nor enjoy their freedoms.<\/p>\n
