{"id":19444,"date":"2016-05-11T17:34:24","date_gmt":"2016-05-11T17:34:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.humanium.org\/en\/?p=19444"},"modified":"2025-12-06T16:23:03","modified_gmt":"2025-12-06T16:23:03","slug":"2015-a-key-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.humanium.org\/en\/2015-a-key-year\/","title":{"rendered":"2015: A Key Year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-37499\" src=\"https:\/\/www.humanium.org\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/FB_IMG_1439199821766.jpg\" alt=\"FB_IMG_1439199821766\" width=\"200\" height=\"364\" \/>Since Humanium was founded in Geneva on November 20, 2008\u2014Universal Children\u2019s Day\u2014and subsequently developed in France and Germany, our network of three linked organizations has evolved tremendously and exponentially increased its impact on the lives of children throughout the world.<\/p>\n<p>On a global scale, Humanium took advantage of new technologies to make children\u2019s rights accessible and understandable for as many people as possible. 5 million people were reached in 2015, thanks to our educational content on children\u2019s rights, which is available online for free.<\/p>\n<p>On a local level, Humanium implemented children\u2019s rights in Bolivia, India, Madagascar, Uganda, Burkina Faso, and Rwanda. Rwanda in particular marks a major turning point in Humanium\u2019s activities, thanks to our development of a very promising pilot project, which uses a unique interdisciplinary combination of legal tools and psychosocial techniques.<\/p>\n<p>Humanium\u2019s constant observation of the situation of children throughout the world helped us to make a new map of global children\u2019s rights.
