Who is Humanium ?

Objective

Humanium makes the Children Rights a reality. The organization supports sustainable development and fair trade, while giving the priority to a global approach centered on self help, participation and autonomy of the poor.

Places of intervention

Our humanitarian projects take place in India, and we act through three organizations in Europe: in Switzerland, France and Germany.

On Internet, the Children’s Rights Portal created by Humanium has an international range, and supports the children’s cause on every continent.

Our global approach

Humanium is characterized by its global approach and its ethical and responsible engagement. The organization is neutral, non political and non faith-based.

To fulfil all the needs and create a sustainable development, Humanium combine the strength of seven support programs :

Our humanitarian projects enables a sustainable development

Our actions are on smale scale : In every village, our projects focus on the causes of the problems, to guarantee an effective action, turning towards autonomy and a sustainable development on the long term.

Humanium acts with and for the poor : The villagers are actors of their own life, they are shareholders and engage themselves for their children’s future. Humanium develop self help and provide the tools for the worst-off to improve their living conditions by themselves.

Humanium works with a state of mind turned to cooperation and partnership : We do not create alternative structures, we reinforce and develop the already existing local structures.
