International Women’s Day

“Having studied the condition of women across the world and across time, I have come to the conclusion that, instead of saying hello, we should ask them for forgiveness.” Alfred de Vigny

March 8th marks the global celebration of International Women’s Day.

This day reminds us that, for many years, women everywhere have fought for equal opportunities and for the recognition of their rights. It represents the hope for better days thanks to the courage and determination of all those who, throughout the ages, have played an extraordinary role in advocating for equality.

Furthermore, it is a day to reflect upon progress and to make the voice of change heard, so that these rights can finally become a daily reality throughout the world.

You too can play a critical role for women’s rights: by donating only 100 CHF or 65 Euros, you can give women access to microcredit and vocational training!
