Internship testimonial – Bruno Michoud

Bruno did a three-month internship within Humanium dedicated to the project management and fundraising.

“I have just finished my three-month internship with the NGO Humanium; here is a short account of my experience.

Bruno Michoud

I carried out my internship by teleworking. This situation had many advantages (such as not having to commute), but I also found, at the beginning of my internship, that there was one disadvantage. I was often distracted from my work by other activities. Then, as my internship went on, I learnt to have a certain degree of discipline whilst working at home.

My role as an intern included project management and fundraising. My job satisfaction came not only from the very interesting tasks I had to do, but also from the independence I had as part of the Humanium team. Supervision and support were available to me at any time, yet I had the chance to carry out my work and manage working groups placed under my responsibility without feeling like I had to follow what I was told to do to the letter.

Over these three months, I was able to develop numerous skills including working as a team, using a wide range of software tools and implementing a marketing strategy. Thanks to a team who were forever positive and always there if I needed anything, acquiring new skills was made much easier.

I would therefore like to thank all of the Humanium team and especially Olivier Soret for providing experiences which were rewarding both on a professional and personal development level”.
