Thanks to you 429 village leaders in Rwanda were trained on how to avoid violence in families. On behalf of them and their direct beneficiaries, women, daughters and sons, thank you for saving their lives and their dignity.
I recently helped Alfons, one of the poorest boys in Rwanda, getting out of prison and starting a new life within his family. He was sentenced because he was violent towards his father. Now, Alfons is going to school again and has parents that really care for him. Without your help, dear Humanium Friend, Alfons would still be in prison. Today, he is safe and loved.

Today, we’re launching our 2015 Year-End Campaign. Our goal is to help an additional 10’000 mothers, fathers, sons and daughters create the homes that they earn and get their lives back on track. You see, even though we trained over 400 village leaders on children`s rights in 2015, there are at least 1’000 village leaders in Rwanda we want to help because they empower families to step out of violence and we couldn’t help them, because we don’t have the resources to do so.
That’s why our goal for this campaign is to raise EUR 25,000 by December 31st. If we raise that amount, we’ll be able to provide awareness campaigns on children`s rights and do 50 workshops like the ones you can see on the video, in 2016. Dear Humanium Friend, we need your help to make it happen.
