Thanks to Humanium’s efforts, several veterinary camps have been set up in the village of Annathur, to benefit not only animals but the human population as well.

Agriculture and farming make up more than 70% of work done in this village, and serve as the main sources of sustenance for the villagers.

The villagers’ survival depends upon the good health of their livestock and the yearly growth of their herds. In order to guarantee these essentials, three veterinary camps have been organized, which have treated a total of 1,312 animals.

The animals are hugely important to the village, as they provide consumable products such as milk, eggs, and meat. They can also provide labor, which lightens the workload of the farmers.
Other camps will be created in the coming years to supplement this generous care by providing other services to animals, such as artificial insemination, worming, and vaccinations.
