World Day against Child Labour will take place on the 12th of June

We often think that this reality does not exist. Today, however, there are still more than 215 million children workingin dangerous and degrading conditions around the world.

Poverty is the main reason children have to work. In order to survive, they fall through the cracks in society, often unaware of the dangers this brings and the freedom that eludes them.

Today we must fight to eradicate child labour across the world no matter what. Let’s reaffirm our belief!

It is an enormous task but we are willing and must notlet our conviction fade.It is our duty to combat this scourge so that all children can aspire to attain a better future.

Humanium is committed to this mission by raising awareness of child labour in the most remote regions of India. Since their very beginning, the projects developed by Humanium have encouraged children in India to return to school.

You can also help by sharing information and supporting the associations that fight for children’s rights.
