Humanium is conducting veterinary camps to ensure the heath of the livestock, essential to the villagers livehoods.

In Sankarapuram village, most families depend on livestock for their livehoods, such as cows for selling milk, ox for land ploughing, goat rearing for selling meat, chicken for selling meat and eggs. Based on the demand of the village members and the lack of veterinary doctors available in villages, Humanium is conducting camps through his local partner Hand in Hand Tamil Nadu’s veterinary doctors, who are available on request during emergencies. The following services are offered: artificial insemination services, pregnancy tests, de-worming, vaccinations and disease treatments.

Since the beginning of the project, 2 veterinary camps have been held during which 674 animals were treated.
